On March 4, 2022, the 40-acre property now known as Restoration Ranch Colorado was purchased. With the help of volunteers from Lakewood PD, JeffCom911, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and West Metro Fire here’s what’s been accomplished in just 365 days:
Renovation of the Ranch’s caretaker’s apartment
- Bathroom – new tub, shower, tile
- Living Area – removed stairwell, installed hardwood floors
- Kitchen – new countertops and backsplash
- Painted all walls and ceilings
- Added furniture, accessories and artwork
Renovation of the Main Lodge
- Great Room – removed woodboring stove, rock wall, installed gas fireplace, added windows, big screen TV, new flooring and drywall
- Kitchen – new countertops, reconfigured layout, new flooring and appliances including massive refrigerator and freezer
- Bedrooms – refinished floors
- Installation of new floors and refinishing existing hardwoods
- Fresh coat of paint throughout
- Added furniture, accessories and artwork

- Fire mitigation – cut down trees, cleared brush
- Barbed wire fence removal
- Refurbished woodburning stoves
- Installed security system and front gate
- Wrangled wildlife and saw elk, moose, bear, turkeys, deer, and foxes

- Hosted 26 overnight guests at the Ranch
